For the first time in the history of the Railway Police Karachi Division, a woman has been appointed as Head Constable—a proud and inspiring moment for the department. Erum Naseem, now serving as Lady Head Constable, has been officially posted as Head Muharrar at APL Karachi Cantt. This appointment is a recognition of her dedication, hard work, and commitment to public service.

Erum Naseem has shown remarkable performance during her service, especially in her previous role as In-Charge of the Help Center. Her efforts were praised by the Inspector General (IG) of Railways, who acknowledged her contribution to improving public support and welfare through her position.

This achievement marks a big step forward in encouraging gender inclusion within law enforcement agencies. Having a woman in such a key role not only breaks barriers but also opens new doors for other women working in or aspiring to join the police force.

Erum’s appointment is more than just a personal success—it sends a powerful message about progress and the growing role of women in shaping Pakistan’s institutions. Her story is sure to inspire many young women to pursue their goals, even in fields where they’ve been underrepresented.
