Gold price per tola remains unchanged in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan remained stable for the second consecutive day on Friday, with the per-tola rate holding at Rs 438,862.

According to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), 10-gram gold was sold at the same rate of Rs376,253,

On Thursday, gold price per tola stayed the same at Rs438,862.

The international rate of gold also remained unchanged at $4,165 per ounce (with a premium of $20).

Silver price was also sold at the same rate of Rs5,642 per tola.

Meanwhile, international gold prices climbed on Friday and were poised for a fourth straight monthly rise, bolstered by investor optimism that the US Federal Reserve would cut interest rates in December.

Spot gold rose 0.8% to $4,189.61 per ounce by 0303 GMT, hitting its highest since November 14, and was set for a 3% weekly gain.

Bullion is set to register a 3.9% rise this month. US gold futures for December delivery were up 0.5% at $4,221.30 per ounce.
