Good News for Consumers! Petrol and Diesel Prices Likely to Drop by Rs. 12 Per Litre from April 16

Due to a steady drop in global crude oil prices, Pakistan is likely to see a noticeable decrease in the prices of petroleum products in the coming days. This is expected to bring some much-needed financial relief to the public, especially for those who have been struggling with rising living costs. Although the final decision has not yet been officially announced, the government is seriously considering lowering fuel prices as a response to the international market trend.

According to reports from various news sources, the new fuel prices are expected to take effect from April 16, 2025. It is anticipated that the price of petrol will go down by around 12 rupees per liter. If this change is approved, the price of petrol will fall from the current 254.63 rupees to approximately 242 rupees per liter.

Similarly, diesel prices are also expected to decrease following the decline in global oil rates. Diesel is currently priced at 258.64 rupees per liter, and this could be reduced to around 250 rupees per liter.

This expected reduction in fuel prices could ease the financial burden on transportation, businesses, and households. It would also help lower the overall cost of goods and services, as fuel prices directly affect shipping and logistics. The public is now waiting for the official announcement, hoping for positive news that will bring some economic relief in their daily lives.
