If this change is approved, the price of petrol will fall from the current 254.63 rupees to approximately 242 rupees per liter.
Similarly, diesel prices are also expected to decrease following the decline in global oil rates. Diesel is currently priced at 258.64 rupees per liter, and this could be reduced to around 250 rupees per liter.
