Higher Education Commission (HEC) Announces Job Positions in Pakistan

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has announced multiple job openings under the PSDP-funded development project titled “Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme.” These positions are open to Pakistani nationals and will be filled on a contract basis. Available Positions and Pay Scales

HEC is offering positions at various levels, each with attractive salaries and requirements:

1. Project Director (PPS-10)

• Salary: Rs. 437,500/month (all-inclusive)
• Quota: Merit-based (1 position)
• Qualification: Master’s degree with 12 years of experience, including 5 years in a managerial role.
• Maximum Age: 55 years

1. Regional Coordinator (PPS-09)

• Salary: Rs. 306,250/month (all-inclusive)
• Quota: Punjab (1), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (1)
• Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience, including 3 years in project management.
• Maximum Age: 50 years

1. Project Manager (PPS-08)

• Salary: Rs. 218,750/month (all-inclusive)
• Quota: Punjab (1)
• Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, including 3 years in a managerial role.
• Maximum Age: 50 years

1. Project Officer (PPS-07)

• Salary: Rs. 157,500/month (all-inclusive)
• Quota: Punjab (1), Sindh (Rural) (1)
• Qualification: Master’s/Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Maximum Age: 40 years

1. Accounts Officer (PPS-07)

• Salary: Rs. 157,500/month (all-inclusive)
• Quota: Merit-based (1 position)
• Qualification: MBA (Finance)/M.Com/ICMA with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Application Process

• Candidates must apply online via HEC’s career portal.
• No hard copies of CVs or documents are required.
• A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 600 must be deposited online in HEC’s designated bank account.

Selection Process

• Tests will be conducted in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar.
• Interviews for outstation candidates will be conducted via audio/video conferencing.

• General age relaxation of 5 years is already included.
