Ratan Tata, the respected Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons, has passed away at the age of 86 in Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where he was admitted due to health issues. A few days before his death, Tata had dismissed rumors about his critical condition, stating that he was only undergoing routine medical check-ups related to his age.

During his time as leader, Ratan Tata turned the Tata Group into a global company valued at around $100 billion. He was admired not only for his business success but also for his honesty and dedication to helping others. In 2008, he was honored with the Padma Vibhushan, one of India’s highest civilian awards, for his contributions to the country.

Ratan Tata’s impact continues to be felt through the charitable activities of the Tata trusts, which focus on various social causes. His leadership and generosity leave a lasting legacy in both business and philanthropy.
