Iranian Foreign Minister Arrives in Pakistan for Two-Day Visit to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi is visiting Islamabad for two days to hold high-level talks with Pakistan’s leaders, aiming to discuss the Middle East situation and explore ways to improve relations between Iran and Pakistan.

During his visit, Araghchi is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. Key topics on the agenda include the ongoing crisis in the Middle East, as well as cooperation between the two nations in areas like trade, energy, and security.

The Foreign Office described this visit as an important chance for both countries to strengthen their partnership and expand dialogue amid the growing tensions in the region. Pakistan and Iran share common interests, particularly in maintaining regional stability, and both countries view collaboration as a way to address current challenges.

With strong cultural, historical, and geographical ties, Pakistan and Iran have long-standing connections. This visit provides an opportunity for them to build on these links and further align on mutual goals, such as boosting trade and energy collaboration and ensuring security in the border regions.

By focusing on these shared objectives, the leaders hope to create a stronger foundation for cooperation and address any issues that may affect peace and stability in the region. As Araghchi’s discussions progress, both sides aim to pave the way for a closer, more productive partnership moving forward.
