Kishmala Talat, a 21-year-old from a military family, is poised to create history as Pakistan’s first female competitor in Olympic shooting at the upcoming Paris Olympics starting on July 26.

Despite facing challenges from society, she aims to achieve another milestone by becoming Pakistan’s first woman to win an Olympic medal, competing in both the 10m air pistol and 25m pistol events.

Talat, who has already won a bronze medal at the Asian Games, dedicates herself to rigorous training, spending up to 10 hours each day. Her training routine includes physical exercises, shooting practice, and meditation.

With unwavering support from her military family and training in Jhelum, she hopes to inspire young Pakistani girls to pursue sports and achieve their dreams.
