Masjid-e-Nabawi Launches Digital Maps to Check Prayer Space Availability

The administration of the Prophet’s Mosque (PBUH) in Saudi Arabia has introduced a new digital system to help worshippers during prayer times. This service provides digital maps in Arabic, English, and Urdu, making it easier for visitors to find space inside the mosque.

Worshippers can access these maps by simply scanning a QR code placed around the mosque. The maps show real-time information on how crowded different areas are, helping visitors avoid full sections and find available space quickly. This system covers 12 different locations within the mosque, ensuring that people can pray comfortably without unnecessary delays.

The digital maps are part of the Ministry of Holy Mosques Affairs’ ongoing efforts to improve services for worshippers. With the high number of visitors during Ramadan, managing crowds becomes more important to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. This initiative helps both local and international visitors have a smoother prayer experience.

The system not only helps in crowd management but also makes the visit more organized and comfortable. It is especially helpful for the elderly and those visiting the mosque for the first time. By checking the digital map before entering, worshippers can save time and avoid unnecessary movement inside the mosque.

This initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to using modern technology to enhance religious services. It shows how technology can improve the experience of pilgrims, making their spiritual journey easier and more peaceful.

With these digital maps, worshippers can focus on their prayers without worrying about finding space, making the visit more enjoyable and stress-free. This new service is another step towards creating a more welcoming environment for all visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.
