Meta has introduced new Oakley smart glasses priced at $399, offering 3K video recording and advanced AI features, while skipping a traditional display. These high-tech glasses are designed especially for athletes and active users, focusing on hands-free convenience and real-time interaction with the environment.

The new model, called Oakley HSTN, comes with several upgrades. It has better battery life, water resistance, and smart features like voice-controlled calls, music playback, and AI-based support without needing a screen. Users can record videos in high quality while staying on the move.

Meta is also launching a special limited edition of the glasses for $499, featuring gold detailing. This premium version will be released first, followed by several other styles with different colors and lenses to choose from.

This launch shows Meta’s continued move into the wearables market. After partnering with Ray-Ban in the past, Meta is now expanding its smart eyewear line by working with Oakley, a brand known for sportswear and performance products.

The Oakley smart glasses offer up to 8 hours of use on a full charge, making them suitable for day-long activities. Meta plans to release more models in the future, including advanced AR glasses as part of its growing AI-powered hardware lineup.

With this launch, Meta strengthens its position in the world of smart wearables by combining style, function, and AI in a product built for everyday use without needing a screen or smartphone.
