Nadeen Ayoub, a young Palestinian woman based in Dubai, has made history by becoming the first-ever contestant to represent Palestine at Miss Universe 2025.
Her participation marks a proud and emotional moment for many Palestinians who see her as a voice of resilience, culture, and hope on the global stage.
When Nadeen walks out on the Miss Universe platform, she will do so with deep pride in her roots. She plans to showcase tatreez, the traditional Palestinian hand embroidery, which is more than just clothing. For her, it is a living symbol of identity, heritage, and the strength of a people who continue to preserve their culture despite hardship.
This is not her first milestone. In 2022, Nadeen competed in Miss Earth, becoming the first Palestinian to ever take part in that competition.
Her efforts were remarkable, as she went on to secure a spot among the top five finalists. That achievement gave her confidence and further strengthened her commitment to representing her community with dignity.
Beyond pageants, Nadeen is a psychology student and a passionate advocate for social causes. She runs an initiative called Saidat Falasteen, which means “Women of Palestine.”
Through this platform, she shares stories of Palestinian women, children, and families—focusing not only on struggle but also on strength, dreams, and achievements. Her goal is to highlight the human side of Palestine that is often overlooked in global conversations.
