New Flying Car Unveiled in UAE that Can Fly Up to 500km

A Dutch company called PAL-V has introduced a flying car at the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park. This unique vehicle, which works both as a car and an aircraft, is priced at Dh2.9 million (around PKR 21 crore). It can fly up to 500 kilometers and is expected to take off in UAE skies by 2027 after getting the necessary approvals from aviation authorities.

The two-seater car has foldable propellers, making it easy to switch between driving on roads and flying in the air. This flying car is designed to be safe and practical. It could be useful for many purposes, such as emergency medical services, military tasks, or even personal and business travel. It also offers a more affordable and safer option than helicopters.

Robert Dingemanse, the CEO of PAL-V, shared that flying taxis may become a reality in the UAE soon. The company has already received a strong response, including an order of 100 flying cars from the UAE-based company Jetex. PAL-V is also working on making future models more eco-friendly by focusing on cleaner technologies.

This new invention could change the way people move around in the future, especially in busy cities like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. It’s not just about luxury or style—it’s about creating smarter and more flexible ways to travel. If the project goes as planned, UAE could become one of the first countries in the world to introduce flying cars for public and commercial use.

PAL-V’s flying car represents a big step forward in innovation and urban mobility, showing how technology can shape the future of transportation.
