In a major achievement for Pakistan’s academic community, 43 researchers from the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) have earned a place among the top 2% of scientists worldwide in 2024.

This annual list, created by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, celebrates scientists who have made significant contributions in areas like artificial intelligence, engineering, and cybersecurity.

NUST’s progress on this list has been impressive, growing from just nine scientists in 2021 to 43 this year. This increase highlights the university’s dedication to advancing impactful research.
