Pakistan Army Gets New Z-10ME Helicopter for Day and Night Missions

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited Multan Garrison to assess the preparedness and operational capabilities of the army formations stationed there. During his visit, he also led the official induction ceremony of the Z-10ME attack helicopters into the Pakistan Army Aviation Corps. This important event was announced by the military’s media wing.

The Z-10ME helicopters are a significant addition to the army’s fleet. These advanced helicopters are equipped with state-of-the-art systems, including precision strike capabilities, modern radar, and electronic warfare technology. With these enhancements, the helicopters are expected to greatly improve the army’s ability to respond to both aerial and ground threats, boosting its overall combat efficiency.

While in the region, the Army Chief also attended a live firepower demonstration at the Muzaffargarh Field Firing Ranges. This demonstration included displays of modern battlefield tactics, coordination between different combat units, and the use of advanced weaponry in real-time scenarios. Field Marshal Asim Munir praised the troops for their excellent skills, professionalism, and high morale, expressing confidence in their ability to defend the country against any threat.

In addition to military activities, the COAS held an interactive session with members of the academic community and representatives from civil society. During this session, he emphasized the need for strong national unity, closer collaboration between civilians and the military, and a comprehensive, whole-of-nation approach to tackle emerging hybrid warfare threats. He underlined that only through collective effort can Pakistan overcome the complex challenges of today’s security landscape.
