Pakistan has begun its kinnow export season with impressive momentum. In just the first ten days of December 2025, the country has already shipped 6,000 tonnes of kinnow to international markets, including the Middle East, Sri Lanka, and the Philippines.

This season, exporters are aiming to send out a total of 300,000 tonnes of kinnow, supported by a bumper crop of 2.7 million tonnes harvested across the country. The strong early shipments indicate that there is significant demand for Pakistani kinnow in overseas markets, and the sector is showing promising signs of growth.

However, despite the high production levels, Pakistan’s kinnow industry is still striving to reach the export volumes it achieved five years ago. Industry experts note that improvements in supply chain management, packaging, and logistics could help the country fully capitalize on its large harvest.

The early performance of the season is encouraging for growers and exporters alike, suggesting that Pakistani kinnow will continue to strengthen its presence in global markets.
