Pakistan Inaugurates First ‘Made in Pakistan’ Expo in Jeddah

Pakistan has organized its first-ever exclusive trade exhibition, the “Made in Pakistan” expo, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This event is a major step toward strengthening economic ties between the two countries.

The exhibition was officially opened by Federal Minister for Commerce, Jam Kamal Khan, and it showcases products from 137 Pakistani companies across various industries, including textiles, sports goods, food, construction materials, and more. These companies are promoting Pakistan’s manufacturing strength and aiming to attract business partnerships.

During the inauguration, Minister Jam Kamal Khan highlighted the huge potential for economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He emphasized key sectors such as food security, energy, mining, and human resources, which offer great opportunities for both nations. He also spoke about the Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia, which consists of around 2.7 million people, and their important role in contributing to the Kingdom’s economy.

The minister further expressed Pakistan’s readiness to contribute to FIFA 2034, as the country is known for producing high-quality sports goods, including footballs used in international tournaments.

Encouraging stronger business collaborations, Khan urged entrepreneurs from both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to explore joint ventures and trade partnerships. He emphasized that such partnerships could help businesses expand into regional markets and create mutual growth opportunities for both countries.

This landmark event not only strengthens bilateral trade relations but also paves the way for new investment opportunities, fostering long-term economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
