“Pakistan Ready to Support Myanmar in this Difficult Time” PM Shahbaz Sharif

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently visited the Myanmar Embassy in Islamabad to offer his condolences following the recent earthquake in Myanmar. During his visit, he met with Myanmar’s Ambassador, Wunna Han, and expressed deep sorrow over the loss and damage caused by the disaster. He also prayed for the speedy recovery of those who were injured and for the quick restoration of the affected areas.

To show Pakistan’s support, Prime Minister Shehbaz announced that the country had already sent 35 tons of relief goods through a special flight to help those impacted by the earthquake.

He assured the Myanmar government that Pakistan is ready to provide more assistance if needed in the coming days. He emphasized the importance of standing together in difficult times and supporting one another as neighbors and friends.

The Myanmar Ambassador expressed heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for visiting the embassy and offering such generous support. He appreciated Pakistan’s timely response and solidarity during this difficult period for Myanmar.

This gesture reflects Pakistan’s commitment to helping countries in need and strengthening international friendships. The Prime Minister’s visit and the immediate aid sent to Myanmar highlight Pakistan’s humanitarian values and willingness to assist whenever possible. It also shows the strong diplomatic ties between the two nations and the importance of cooperation during times of crisis.

Pakistan’s response has been welcomed not only by Myanmar but also by international observers who see it as a step toward stronger regional support and unity. The visit and aid package symbolize hope, compassion, and the shared goal of recovery and rebuilding after a natural disaster.
