Pakistan & Saudi Arabia Launch New Economic Partnership Framework

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have announced a new plan to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.

The initiative aims to expand trade, attract investment, and create new opportunities in key sectors such as energy, mining, technology, tourism, agriculture, and food security.

As part of this framework, both nations have agreed to work on several joint projects that will help boost their economies and create jobs.

One of the major proposals is an electrical interconnection project, which would allow Pakistan and Saudi Arabia to share energy resources more efficiently.

The two leaders emphasized that this partnership is not just about business—it is also about long-term friendship, shared goals, and regional stability. They highlighted the importance of promoting mutual growth and cooperation to ensure a stronger economic future for both nations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed Pakistan’s strong commitment to welcoming Saudi investments and providing full support to projects that could benefit both sides.

Similarly, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to improve its investment environment and reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s trust in the country’s potential.

This new agreement marks an important step forward in Pakistan–Saudi relations, reflecting a shared vision for prosperity and development. It shows that both nations are moving toward a future built on trust, collaboration, and sustainable economic progress.
