Pakistan’s Cheapest Electric Car Launched, Here’re the Details

As Pakistan moves towards greener transportation, a new EV has entered the market to make eco-friendly driving more accessible. A local tech company, Inverex, has introduced the Xio EV, a compact and budget-friendly hatchback designed for daily urban use.

This small electric car, originally known worldwide as the LingBox EV, has been rebranded for the Pakistani market as the Inverex Xio. It comes in three different versions based on range: the Xio 140, Xio 220, and Xio 320, offering estimated travel distances of 140 km, 220 km, and 320 km on a single charge.

For those looking for quick charging, the higher-end models come with DC fast charging, which allows the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 36 minutes — ideal for city dwellers always on the go.

Price Overview

Here’s a breakdown of the pricing and booking cost:

  • Xio 140 – Rs 34.99 lakh (Booking: Rs 500,000)
  • Xio 220 – Rs 41.99 lakh, with a promo price of Rs 39.99 lakh (Booking: Rs 600,000)
  • Xio 320 – Rs 51.99 lakh, currently discounted to Rs 49.99 lakh (Booking: Rs 700,000)

What You Get Inside

Each variant includes modern features like a 10.1-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, basic driver assistance systems, and essential safety tech including ABS, EBD, stability control, and a driver-side airbag.

Inverex is also offering solid warranty coverage: 5 years for the vehicle and 8 years for the battery, which gives customers peace of mind as EV adoption grows.

The launch of the Xio EV is a major step forward for Pakistan’s electric future, offering affordable, clean transportation without compromising on features or comfort.
