“Pakistan’s Field Marshal is an Excellent Fighter and a Great Human Being”, Donald Trump

Former US President Donald Trump has claimed that he personally helped prevent a major conflict between India and Pakistan during his time in office.

According to him, tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors were dangerously high, but his direct involvement helped calm the situation.

Trump said that when he learned about the rising conflict, he immediately reached out to both Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Pakistan’s leadership. He reportedly warned them that if the situation escalated into war, the United States would stop all trade deals with both countries.

“I told them clearly, if you go to war, there will be no trade with the United States,” Trump said. “After that, the tensions started to ease.”

He went on to praise both leaders, describing Modi as a “strong and tough leader” who loves his country deeply. He also referred to Pakistan’s then Prime Minister as a “great man” and acknowledged Pakistan’s military leadership, saying the Field Marshal was an exceptional fighter and a man of discipline.

Trump emphasized that his diplomatic pressure played a key role in maintaining peace in the region and avoiding a possible war. He said it was one of the “most dangerous situations” during his presidency, but his quick communication and firm stance helped restore calm between the two countries.

The former president’s remarks have once again sparked debate about the US role in South Asian diplomacy, particularly in times of regional tension.
