PIA Announces Big Discount for Pakistani Students

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a significant discount for Pakistani students traveling to China for their studies. According to the source, the national airline is offering a 20 percent discount on fares for these students. This initiative is designed to make travel more affordable for students pursuing academic degrees in China.

In addition to the discount, PIA has also increased the baggage allowance for students to 60 kilograms, allowing them to carry more of their belongings without extra cost. This added benefit is particularly useful for students who need to transport essential items for their studies and stay in China.

Currently, PIA operates a weekly flight on the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route every Sunday. Students who are planning to return to Pakistan for the summer holidays or after completing their educational degrees can take advantage of this discounted fare.

Previously, PIA had increased the student discount to 27 percent for travel to China, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to supporting students. Additionally, the airline had reduced fares by 20 percent for economy and executive economy classes on domestic flights during Eid ul Fitr, making travel more accessible during the festive season.

These initiatives by PIA highlight their efforts to provide affordable and convenient travel options for Pakistani students and other passengers, ensuring that education and important family visits are more financially manageable.
