Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently praised Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and her team for their excellent efforts in cleanliness and public service during Eid-ul-Azha.

In a message addressed to the Chief Minister and her team, the Prime Minister acknowledged their hard work and dedication. He specifically said, “Well done, Punjab,” and “Well done, Maryam Nawaz,” applauding their commitment to keeping the area clean and serving the public.

One of the key achievements highlighted by the Prime Minister was the use of drones, which played a significant role in reducing littering in the Lahore canal by 80%. He praised this innovative approach and considered it a major step forward in maintaining cleanliness in the city.

The Prime Minister also expressed his hope that the quality of public service would continue to improve. He emphasized the importance of continuing such efforts and maintaining high standards in public service.

Additionally, he mentioned the tradition of using rose water to wash the streets, which is a unique and pleasant way to keep the environment clean and fresh. This tradition not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the streets but also demonstrates a commitment to maintaining a pleasant living environment for residents.
