Ras Al Khaimah Police use a drone with a 40kg payload to improve security

Major-General Ali Abdullah Bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-In-Chief of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, has been briefed on the state-of-the-art Flycatcher 30 drone recently added to the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command’s fleet of aircraft.
The Flycatcher 30 is intended to enhance the Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command’s ability to respond to incidents and support the quality of security life in the emirate.
The Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police lauded the attributes and capabilities of the Flycatcher 30 drone, which is engineered to accommodate a 40kg payload, thereby facilitating expedited access to transport equipment and the provision of humanitarian aid in emergency zones, disaster sites, and a multitude of scenarios through an ‘automated winch’ system and a 40kg container. In addition, it can be deployed in diverse settings during crises, disasters, major accidents, and rescue operations in mountainous and marine environments with minimal time lag to enhance the responsiveness.
Furthermore, the drone can be employed for the delivery of essential supplies and may be utilized for the dissemination of information through the provision of real-time footage and the broadcasting of events as they unfold at the scene. This is made possible by its capacity to carry several professional cameras, which are able to capture images and videos directly and from all directions, and link the event with the operations room.
