Safar Moon not Sighted in Pakistan

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has officially announced that the moon for the Islamic month of Safar 1447 AH was not seen anywhere in Pakistan on Friday, July 25. Because of this, the new month of Safar will now begin on Sunday, July 27.

Earlier, weather experts had already said that there were very low chances of seeing the moon because of cloudy skies and changing weather in different parts of the country. Despite this, the committee held meetings and gathered information from their offices across Pakistan to make sure they got a clear decision.

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is responsible for moon sighting decisions in Pakistan. Every month, the committee checks reports from different cities and then makes an official announcement about the start of the new Islamic month. This helps people know when to observe special days or plan important events.

The announcement was made after the committee did not receive any reliable evidence or reports of the moon being sighted from any part of the country. As a result, the Islamic month of Muharram will now complete 30 days before Safar begins.

People across Pakistan will now mark the first day of Safar on Sunday. Many communities follow these moon sighting updates closely because they decide religious dates, gatherings, and other important activities.

This clear announcement will help people plan ahead and observe the new month in peace. The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee thanked everyone who shared information and promised to continue providing accurate updates in the future too.
