Sheikh Sultan approves establishing sewage network in two areas of Kalba

His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved the budget for a sewage network in Al Ghail and Al Saaf areas in the city of Kalba.
Khor Kalba sewage network is expected to cover 820 residences in Al Saaf 8, Al Ghail 7 and 8, Al Suwaidi indicated.
His Highness also approved the establishment of eight new nurseries in Sharjah, Kalba, Khor Fakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn, which will be ready by 2024 to receive all children registering for nurseries.
This was announced by Engineer Ali Bin Shaheen Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Sharjah Public Works Department (DPW) to the media figure Mohammed Al Raissi on the “The Direct Line,” programme aired on Sharjah Radio and Television.
Al Suwaidi explained that work has started on establishing a nursery in Al Ghail2  area in Kalba, and two nurseries in Luluah and Huray areas in Khor Fakkan.
He added that work will continue sequentially to establish a nursery in Al Sioh, Rahmaniya, and Al Nouf areas in Sharjah, and a nursery in the city of Dibba Al Hisn.
According to Al Suwaidi, five contractors are currently working on expanding Sharjah’s nurseries to accommodate all registered children at the start of the academic year. The expansion includes five nurseries in Sharjah and one in the city of Kalba, each accommodating 62 children, he added.
Abdullah Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Human Resources Department, also announced on “The Direct Line” that it is planned to employ 1,000 job seekers during the remaining months of the year 2024 in various government bodies in the Emirate of Sharjah.
He explained that from January to July 2024, 1,000 male and female job seekers were employed in Sharjah’s departments, authorities, and institutions, including 510 bachelor’s degree holders, 17 master’s degree holders, 26 diploma holders, 435 high school graduates, and 12 below secondary school level.
