His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has stated that technology and artificial intelligence are playing an increasingly significant role in shaping the future global economy.
He pointed out that Sheikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who spearheads numerous institutions, companies, collaborations, and global initiatives that are influencing the trajectory of this sector, not only locally, but also globally, is, therefore, contributing to the future of the world economy, as evidenced by Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential personalities in this field.
His Highness via the X platform, said, “In a changing world, the technological advancement is a primary driver of the evolving global economic landscape, with artificial intelligence (AI) emerging as a pivotal technology.”
He added, “The Time magazine has published its annual list of the 100 most influential individuals in the industry. Those who are influencing the future of technology on a global scale are collectively referred to as “The Shapers.” The list includes the name of my brother, Sheikh Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He is spearheading the development of numerous institutions, companies, collaborative initiatives, and global programmes with the objective of influencing the trajectory of this sector on a global scale, thereby contributing to the shaping of the world’s future economic landscape.”
“The list also included Faisal Al Bannai, a member of the national team in this sector, among the officials of the world’s leading companies in this field. The country is proud of you and is placing its confidence in your abilities. The future is contingent upon your success, and the future of our generations with you is more promising,” Sheikh Mohammed added.
