Sindh Healthcare Commission Opens Jobs Opportunities in Pakistan

The Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC), a statutory body of the Government of Sindh, has announced vacancies for two important positions at its head office in Karachi. The SHCC plays a critical role in improving healthcare quality and eliminating quackery in Sindh. The available positions offer competitive salaries and provide professionals with an opportunity to contribute to improving healthcare services in the province.

Vacant Positions and Criteria

The SHCC is looking for suitable candidates for the following contractual posts:

1. Director Anti-Quackery

• Qualifications: MBBS with a Master’s degree in Public Health, Hospital/Healthcare Management, or Public/Business Administration, recognized by the HEC/PMDC.
• Experience: A minimum of 15 years in the relevant field within the public or private sector, including at least five years in a leadership role.
• Contract Duration: Three years, subject to an annual performance review.
• Age Limit: Up to 55 years.
• Salary: PKR 350,000 per month.
• Number of Positions: 1.

1. Director Clinical Governance & Training

• Qualifications: MBBS with a Master’s degree in Public Health, Hospital/Healthcare Management, or Public/Business Administration, recognized by the HEC/PMDC.
• Experience: A minimum of 15 years in the relevant field within the public or private sector, including at least five years in a leadership role.
• Contract Duration: Three years, subject to an annual performance review.
• Age Limit: Up to 55 years.
• Salary: PKR 350,000 per month.
• Number of Positions: 1.

1. Domicile: The candidate must have a domicile from Sindh Province.
2. Age Limit: The age limit will be calculated as of the closing date. No age relaxation will be provided by the government.

4. No TA/DA: No travel allowance or daily allowance will be provided for appearing in tests or interviews.
5. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted eligible candidates will be called for test/interview.
