State Bank of Pakistan Announces Summer Internship Program for BS and MS Students

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has unveiled a new Summer Internship Program for the year 2025, inviting BS and MS students from Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir to gain valuable experience. The internship, hosted at the SBP headquarters in Karachi, will run for six weeks from June 23 to August 1, 2025, providing participants with a firsthand look into the workings of the central bank.

Opportunity for Aspiring Professionals

This program is designed to help students bridge the gap between academic studies and real-world applications. Interns will work across various departments within the bank, learning about financial operations and central banking processes. The initiative aims to nurture the next generation of professionals by exposing them to the challenges and responsibilities of the financial sector.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible candidates must be

• Pakistani or AJK nationals holding a valid CNIC, NICOP, or Pakistani passport.
• Students should be either in their third year of a four-year bachelor’s degree or enrolled in a master’s program.
• Applicants from a range of academic fields are welcome, including but not limited to Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Agriculture, Media Sciences/Mass Communication, and Information Systems & Technology.
• A strong academic record is required, with students meeting the minimum criteria of 70% marks or a comparable CGPA.

The application must include all necessary documents, such as attested academic transcripts, identification proofs, domicile certificates, and a recent photograph. It is important to note that applications will not be accepted via email or in-person submissions.
