StormFiber Partners with Pakistan Railways to Launch Free WiFi at Karachi Cantt Station

Cybernet, under its flagship brand StormFiber, has signed an MoU with Pakistan Railways to provide Free WiFi services at Karachi Cantt Station—one of the busiest railway hubs in the country. This partnership marks the beginning of a new era of digitally empowered travel.

Through this initiative, passengers will enjoy seamless and reliable internet access, enabling them to stay connected with loved ones, access essential digital resources, and conveniently plan the next part of their journey while at the station.

Sharing his thoughts, Mr. Mehmood Rehman Lakho, Divisional Superintendent Karachi, Pakistan Railways, said:

“Karachi Cantt Station serves as a major gateway for passengers traveling across Pakistan. By providing free internet access, we are not only modernizing railway facilities but also ensuring passengers benefit from improved convenience, better access to information, and a more comfortable station experience.”

Adding to this, Mr. Amir Sheikh, Managing Director Optical Fiber Dev, said:

“At StormFiber, we believe connectivity should not be limited to homes and offices. By introducing Free WiFi at Karachi Cantt Station, we are enabling travelers to make their wait at the station more connected, enjoyable, and worthwhile.”

This collaboration reflects StormFiber’s vision of creating a more connected and digitally inclusive Pakistan, while also supporting Pakistan Railways in its mission to enhance passenger services and modernize the country’s transport infrastructure.
