tapmad proudly announces the signing of an exclusive content partnership with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), marking a significant milestone in strengthening its premium sports offering. Through this collaboration, tapmad has secured the domestic digital broadcasting rights for a distinguished portfolio of national cricket tournaments.

The official signing ceremony took place on Thursday, 11 December, at the National Cricket Academy, and was attended by senior leadership from both organizations, including Sumair Ahmad Syed, Chief Operating Officer – PCB, and Dr. Ali Adnan Zaidi, Director – Commercial, PCB, alongside Aly Rana, Chief Operating Officer – tapmad, and Ali Altaf, Head of Marketing Communications & Strategy – tapmad. The presence of key stakeholders highlighted the shared vision and commitment to elevating Pakistan’s domestic cricket ecosystem.

Under this agreement, tapmad has acquired digital rights for several premier domestic tournaments, including the President Cup, President Trophy, National T20 Qualifiers, Men’s National T20, National Under-17 Cup, National Under-15 Cup, and the National Women’s T20 Tournament.

This partnership aligns with the Pakistan Cricket Board’s long-term vision to strengthen and modernize domestic cricket, with a strong focus on player development, increased visibility, and fan engagement. By leveraging digital platforms and strategic content partnerships, PCB continues to create greater exposure for emerging talent and ensure that domestic cricket remains the backbone of Pakistan’s cricketing future.

Spokesperson from PCB, Sumair Ahmad Syed, Chief Operating Officer, said, “Domestic cricket is the backbone of Pakistan’s cricket structure, and expanding its digital reach is a key focus for PCB. This partnership with tapmad will help increase visibility for our domestic competitions and provide greater exposure to emerging talent across the country”.

Commenting on the collaboration, Aly Rana, Chief Operating Officer tapmad, said, Supporting and promoting Pakistan’s sporting culture is central to tapmad’s vision. Through this partnership with PCB, we aim to provide young domestic talent a wider digital platform, increase the visibility of grassroots cricket, and create deeper engagement for fans across Pakistan.

Beyond live broadcast rights, the partnership also enables tapmad to work exclusively with PCB to develop compelling promotional content and immersive behind-the-scenes coverage, offering fans unprecedented access to the stories, talent, and passion that define Pakistan’s domestic cricket.
