Temperature Rises to 30 C in Islamabad – Earliest In Last 10 Years

Islamabad is experiencing an early heatwave as temperatures have reached 30°C, marking the earliest rise to this level in the past 10 years. The sudden increase in temperature has surprised many residents, as such heat is usually felt later in the season. The warm weather has brought clear skies and strong sunshine, making afternoons especially uncomfortable.

Meteorologists have warned that this unusual heat could have an impact on daily life. Higher temperatures may lead to increased use of air conditioners and fans, which can raise electricity demand. At the same time, water consumption is also expected to rise as people try to stay cool and hydrated. Experts say that if the warm spell continues, it could put pressure on energy and water supplies.

Residents are being advised to drink plenty of water, avoid direct sunlight during peak hours, and wear light, breathable clothing. Parents are encouraged to take extra care of children, and elderly people are advised to remain indoors as much as possible during the hottest part of the day. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation as the city deals with an unusually hot and early start to the season.
