U.S. Roads, Pakistani Tyres! Pakistan Enters U.S. Top 10 Truck & Bus Tyre Exporters

Pakistan has achieved an impressive milestone in its export industry by becoming one of the top 10 exporters of Truck and Bus Radial (TBR) tires to the United States during the first quarter of 2025.

According to trade data, Pakistan recorded a strong 76.3% increase in exports compared to the same period last year. In Q1 2025, the country exported more than 111,000 TBR tires, up from 63,500 units in Q1 2024. This significant growth shows Pakistan’s rising ability to meet international quality standards and demand, especially in the highly competitive U.S. market.

The achievement marks a key turning point for Pakistan’s manufacturing and export sectors. It also demonstrates the country’s improving industrial capacity and the successful efforts made by local tire manufacturers to boost production, maintain quality, and reach new markets.

Experts say this growth could open doors for further export opportunities in other major markets, helping Pakistan reduce its trade deficit and strengthen its overall economy.

Industry insiders credit the government’s export-friendly policies, improvements in local manufacturing practices, and increased investment in technology and workforce training for this success.

Pakistan’s growing presence in the global tire market shows its potential to compete with larger economies in key industries. This also encourages more foreign buyers to consider Pakistani products as reliable and cost-effective.

As the demand for quality commercial vehicle tires continues to rise, especially in developed countries, Pakistan’s tire export sector is expected to grow even further in the coming years.
