“Whenever Pakistan Faced Difficulties, Saudi Arabia Stood by Our Side,” Ishaq Dar

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, has clarified that the recent agreement signed with Saudi Arabia was not something achieved in a single meeting. Instead, he said, it was the result of months of hard work and negotiations.

Speaking about the deal, Dar stressed that Saudi Arabia has always stood by Pakistan in difficult times. He noted that Riyadh’s leadership has expressed satisfaction with this agreement, seeing it as an important step for both nations.

Dar also explained that the understanding between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is not new. For years, there have been close informal ties and cooperation, but now those relations have been formally recognized through this pact. According to him, the agreement will help in building a stronger strategic partnership.

He further added that this cooperation will not only strengthen the friendship between Islamabad and Riyadh but also create opportunities for wider regional collaboration in the future. This includes areas such as trade, investment, energy, and security, where both countries share common goals.

Dar highlighted that Pakistan values its relationship with Saudi Arabia as one of the most important partnerships in its foreign policy. By turning informal cooperation into a formal agreement, both countries have sent a clear message about their commitment to supporting each other.

The Deputy Prime Minister concluded that the pact marks a new chapter in Pakistan-Saudi relations, one that is based on trust, shared interests and long-term cooperation.
