HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

A great many people will come to depend on you this year but you are not the sort to turn them down or turn them away. You must, however, make time for your own needs, both physical and emotional – don’t give them everything and leave yourself nothing.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20

Before you own up to some kind of indiscretion ask yourself if it is really necessary. If all you are trying to do is soothe your guilty conscience then it may be better to keep quiet and suffer in silence. The world most likely doesn’t care.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

You may not be in a sociable mood today but that’s okay because you need to spend time thinking through the things you have done and working out how to do them better in the future. The party scene will still be there for you later on.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

Even a Gemini needs to take things easy once in a while, so if you don’t feel like being your usual bubbly, boisterous self then just switch off for a bit. The less you worry about the world around you the less there will be to worry about.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

You may not be one of the more extrovert signs of the zodiac but you are a cardinal sign and that means you come alive quickly when there are serious issues at stake. Some people will be shocked by the intensity of your responses today.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

Partnerships are under good stars today, so let those you work with know how much you respect them and let those you live with know how much you love them. There is no downside to being open about your feelings, so don’t be embarrassed.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Not everyone will agree with what you intend to do today but that won’t worry you one little bit. On the contrary, it will inspire you to be even more adventurous and even more outspoken about your views. It’s good to rock the boat occasionally.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

Do something today that takes the object of your affection by surprise. Think of the craziest way you can show your love and then give it everything you’ve got. They will be delighted and you will be even more delighted by their response!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you knuckle down and get some serious work done over the next few days you can have a guilt-free fun time with friends and loved ones at the weekend. As a bonus, your efforts will not go unnoticed by people in positions of power.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

If someone offers you something for nothing today you will of course be suspicious but the planets indicate their offer could be on the level, so don’t reject it out of hand. Maybe put off making a decision about it until the start of next week.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

You have done so many good deeds for so many people of late that you can expect the universe to do some good things for you between now and the weekend. The best reward of all, however, will be knowing you made a difference.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

Don’t try so hard to win friends and influence people. Strangely, the more others can see you are putting yourself out to impress them the less impressed they are likely to be, so stay aloof and act as if you don’t care what they think about you.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

What you are working on may be no big deal to you but some people are likely to take issue with it because they fear it may do harm to their own ambitions. Do what you can to soothe their fears but don’t change just to please them.
