HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

You have no intention of hiding yourself away where the big bad world can’t find you. You sincerely believe this will be the year when, by putting yourself front and centre, you make a seriously good name for yourself, and earn some seriously big rewards.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

You cannot expect everyone you socialize and do business with to be as adventurous as you, so make allowances and don’t allow yourself to get upset if friends and colleagues fall short of your high standards. They really are doing their best.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

If someone says you are being too cautious you should take that as a compliment rather than a criticism. One of the reasons you are so successful in life is because you make the effort to look ahead, so keep planning and keep winning.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

The more tempting an offer sounds today the more closely you will need to look at it. It could be exactly what you need but equally it could be that a rival is setting a trap in the hope that you will fall into it head first.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

Some thoughts you can share with others and some thoughts must be kept to yourself and if you are not sure which is which at the moment then it might be best to say nothing at all. Why risk giving your rivals an unearned advantage?

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

According to the planets you owe someone a favour and if you get the chance to repay it today you must do so. If you don’t even things out now the feeling that you are getting something for nothing will start nagging at your conscience.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

Take care that in your eagerness to impress someone you don’t bite off more than you can chew and end up looking foolish later in the week when you have to admit that you are out of your depth. Aim to promise less and deliver more.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You can and you must tell the truth today, even if by doing so you know you will hurt the feelings of someone you love. The planets warn you won’t be doing them any favors if you say they are making progress when they most certainly are not.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you are going to make the right decision about a family or financial matter then you will need to shut yourself away from distractions for an hour or two. You won’t be able to think straight if you are surrounded by constant noise.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You may want to be even-handed when dealing with friends and colleagues but if you put their needs ahead of your own you will lose out in some way. As you are the one who is calling the shots you are entitled to call them in your favour.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

Pretend you don’t care what other people think of you and follow your instincts wherever they may lead. If you get it wrong and end up looking foolish then so be it – at least you took a chance when others were too cowardly to do so.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You seem to have this quaint belief that everyone else is as honest as you. If you don’t wise up fast you could find that your generosity of spirit costs you a few dollars more than you can afford to lose. A little suspicion is no bad thing.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

If you are on the verge of giving up on a puzzle that you can’t seem to crack then leave it for a day or two and focus on matters that are not so challenging. The answer will pop into your mind when you least expect it.
