HOROSCOPES IF TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY

Mercury at odds with changes planet Uranus on your birthday means you must not fall for the latest fad or fashion. What worked well for you in the past can work just as well in the future. If others want to stick their necks out, that’s up to them.

ARIES (March 21 – April 20):

If you need extra money in your pocket then you are going to have to come up with a way to earn more of the stuff. Failing that, you could have a major clear out of those possessions you no longer need. Sell it all online.

TAURUS (April 21 – May 21):

Resist the temptation to make a big deal of something that is really of only minor importance. What a friend or colleague said or did may have been annoying but it didn’t hurt you in any material way, so be an adult about it and let it go.

GEMINI (May 22 – June 21):

If someone criticizes you over the next 24 hours it is most likely because they are jealous of your success. The best way to deal with them is to ignore what they say and carry on doing what made them so envious of you in the first place.

CANCER (June 22 – July 23):

This could be and should be a wonderful time for you, especially creatively and romantically, and if you can find a way to bring those two things together it might turn out to be the best time ever. The universe loves you because you’re a doer.

LEO (July 24 – Aug. 23):

If you have to let someone know in plain and simple language why they are getting on your nerves then just say it and be done with it. You are under no obligation to suffer fools, especially those who think they know better than you.

VIRGO (Aug. 24 – Sept. 23):

You are so full of energy at the moment that you may be tempted to take on a dozen tasks at once – and could make a bad job of several of them. Cut back on your commitments and do just two or three things amazingly well.

LIBRA (Sept. 24 – Oct. 23):

You may have a lot going for you at the moment but you cannot afford to take anything for granted, especially on the work front where rivals could be plotting to bring you down a peg or two. Don’t make it easy for them by being too laidback.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24 – Nov. 22):

If you focus all your energies in a single direction between now and the end of the week you are sure to accomplish something remarkable. Don’t rely too much on other people though. Some of your colleagues talk a better game than they play.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 – Dec. 21):

You may look calm on the outside but on the inside you are having doubts about some of the decisions you recently took. Don’t be so negative. They may not all have been great decisions but at least you did something, which is more than most people do.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 – Jan. 20):

There will have to be some give and take when dealing with people whose ideas about how to proceed, both on a personal level and at work, are radically at odds with your own. Sharpen up your negotiating skills because you are going to need them.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 – Feb. 19):

You have never been the sort to compromise on a point of principle and you are not about to start now, no matter how much pressure is brought to bear from above. Don’t worry about creating enemies – you still have plenty of friends in high places.

PISCES (Feb. 20 – Mar. 20):

There is no point looking for traditional answers to problems that are so new that there may not even be a name for them yet. Even when you do come up with a solution don’t try to set it in stone – be super flexible at all times.
