Pakistan Launches Cloud and Al Training Programs to Boost Startups and Digital Skills

Pakistan is accelerating its digital transformation through a series of new initiatives designed to empower startups and build advanced tech skills across the country.

Under the Prime Minister’s Cloud Program, startups will now receive cloud credits that will help them scale faster, improve digital infrastructure, and compete more effectively in global markets.

The initiative is aimed at reducing the cost of technology adoption and encouraging innovation in Pakistan’s growing startup ecosystem.

Another major step is the launch of the Code4AI Program, which plans to train around 7,500 individuals in high-demand technologies such as Python, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, quantum computing, and prompt engineering.

This program seeks to equip young professionals and students with practical, future-ready skills that align with global digital trends.

To complement classroom learning, the program will also organize cybersecurity hackathons and hands-on workshops in major cities, ensuring that participants gain real-world experience in solving modern tech challenges.

In addition, the National Incubation Center (NIC) Quetta 2.0 is being expanded to support more than 70 entrepreneurs each year.

The upgraded center will offer comprehensive training, expert mentorship, and investor networking opportunities to help innovators transform their ideas into successful, scalable businesses.

These initiatives highlight Pakistan’s strong focus on creating a skilled digital workforce and fostering entrepreneurship.

By combining technical training with business support, the government aims to position Pakistan as a competitive player in the global digital economy while providing new career opportunities for its youth.
